The courses are designed for adult students by expert instructors. All program staff and instructors volunteer to keep the tuition as low as possible. The courses will be conducted in English only. To learn about schedules and fees that include refreshments and social hour after each class, please refer to the course descriptions below. The program is an excellent way to meet new and interesting people and satisfy your intellectual curiosity.
COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
ZOOM COURSES
Before your Zoom course begins, you will receive an email from the Lifelong Learning Program with essential information:
dates, times, and the Zoom link that will be used for all course classes.
Zoom courses are not limited geographically. If you know someone anywhere interested in enrolling in one of our Zoom courses, please send them the URL (website address) of the Lifelong Learning Program's website so they can register directly.
NOTE: Only individuals whose names we have received from PayPal as registered will be admitted to a Zoom course. Therefore, you cannot register a friend; registration must be done directly by each student.
-CANCELLATION POLICIES
Cash refunds cannot be issued.
1.- If WE are forced to cancel a course, you will be entitled to a substitute course at any price to be used within a year. Alternatively, the course fee can be donated to the Life Long Learning Program as a contribution.
2.- If YOU are forced to cancel your participation in a course for which you have registered, you may request a certificate for a substitute course of equal or lesser value, valid for one year from the cancellation date for you or the person you designate. Alternatively, the course fee can be donated to the LifeLong Learning Program as a contribution. If the course is in-person, to receive any of these options, you must cancel five business days or more before the first class. Later cancellations will not be accepted.

-HOW TO REGISTER AND HEALTH POLICIES
1.- ELECTRONICALLY, with PayPal. To pay with PayPal, you will need a PayPal account, which allows you to choose to pay directly from your bank or with a credit card.
NOTE: The email address linked to your PayPal account is the only one we will have. If you use a different email account, we will not be able to communicate with you if there are any changes you need to know about. If you use another email address to receive your email, forward it to: recepcion@instituto-allende.edu.mx
2.- IN PERSON, at the reception office of Instituto Allende, at Ancha de San Antonio #22. Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
-BEFORE REGISTERING, PLEASE READ AND ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING:
The health of our instructors, students, and staff is our top priority. At this point, we will not require the use of masks, although students may do so if they wish. We will continue to regularly clean the classroom to ensure a sanitary environment. We are limiting the size of our classes to 40 to maintain a reasonable distance between students. We reserve the right to change our policy regarding masks and class size if Covid or any other health threat emerges again before the opening of classes in January 2024.
