Festival of the Arts San Miguel de Allende
The San Miguel de Allende Arts Festival is the first festival organized among more than 25 cultural organizations, which came together to hold the first edition of this cultural festival in August 2023.
There will be more than 70 events, activities and courses in music, plastic arts, theater, cinema, among others.
The goal is for this festival to be the most important at the national level in terms of culture.

Instituto Allende
The Instituto Allende, incorporated into the University of Guanajuato and founded in 1950, is a University of Plastic and Visual Arts that offers accredited programs such as bachelor's degrees in Visual Arts as well as workshops and art classes to the general public in weaving, jewelry, sculpture, painting, photography, ceramics and engraving, as well as other media and forms of art on an occasional basis, taught by nationally and internationally renowned professors. In addition to art classes, we also offer group and private Spanish classes for those learning it as a second language.
Workshop Tuition: Prices are in Mexican pesos; include the discount available to national students with their IFE/INE, Birth Certificate and/or Mexican Passport.
Materials are not included in tuition, but we will provide a list of suggested materials and where to buy them locally.
- We require a deposit which is applied to your final tuition.
- Tuition must be paid in full before the first day of class.

- After your payment, we will send you an email to confirm your purchase and the dates of your studies.
